An ECREA preconference co-organized by three ECREA Thematic Sections: Communication History, Radio Research, Television Studies

This preconference will take place in Braga, Portugal at the main campus of the University of Minho on October 1st and 2nd, 2020.

Please send your 500 word abstract and a short bio of 100 words to info@oldnewspersistence.com. Deadline for submissions is 30 March 2020. Authors will receive word of acceptance by 30 April 2020.

Special Artist Performance and Crowdfunding

As you can see in the program we invited the artist Antonia Rehnen for a 30 min. slot to present her short film “Memories wrapped in paper planes” followed by a Q+A (find more info here: https://ecreahistorylugano2018.wordpress.com/special-artist-performance/). To finance her performance and the expenses she has we decided to add the option to donate an amount you think is suitable during your registration. We hope you find this to be a worthy investment and a fruitful addition to an academic conference.

It is now possible to register for the pre-conference. We use Eventbrite to manage the payments (credit card only).
